For you reference below are the details about the AT&T Believe Houston initiative.
Believe Houston is an AT&T initiative to improve the quality of life for Houstonians in underserved neighborhoods identified by the City of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s Complete Communities initiative.  These neighborhoods consist of Acres Home, Gulfton, Near Northside, 2nd Ward, and 3rd Ward.
The Believe Houston objectives are Run as One, Partnerships, and Create Generational Success.

  • Run As One: Run an employee driven campaign made up of cross-functional business units and employee resource groups.  Houston is unique in that ERGs and employees, even before the Believe Campaigns, have always collaborated and worked together to accomplish impactful things.  Our combined response to Hurricane Harvey only strengthened our run as one culture.

  • Partnerships: Leverage public-private & non-profit partnerships throughout the city.  To truly making a lasting impact and create generational change we must partner with friends and invite them to join us on this journey.

  • Create Generational Success: Build a sustainable model for success by expanding opportunities to access education, jobs, and support services

For this investment opportunity we are targeting the Believe Houston pillars of Education, Jobs and Volunteerism.

  • Education: Partner with City of Houston and others to expand educational opportunities, college enrollment, mentoring, and work preparedness programs

  • Jobs: Hire qualified workers for positions at AT&T or with AT&T vendors/contractors and provide workforce resources to increase chances of job offer.

  • Volunteerism & Employee Engagement: Partner with AT&T employee resource groups and others to identify volunteer engagement opportunities.
