DRIVE. AMBITION. ACCOUNTABILITY. CONFIDENCE. As a Financial Advisor, you are entirely responsible for yourself and your income, so you need to be organized, focused and disciplined. You’ll work hard, struggle through slow periods and face tough challenges while building your business. Most important, you are responsible for treating your clients properly, disclosing what they need to hear and doing your absolute best to help them.
PLACEMENT AND DURATION
Our Financial Advisor Associate Program is a rigorous 36-month training and development program. At the end of the curriculum phases (Licensing, Learning & Coaching; Client Acquisition & Coaching; and Client Acquisition & Relationship Building), Financial Advisor Associates
are fully prepared to take their place among our elite Financial Advisor workforce. The FAA Program is highly selective, and we accept only the top candidates. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Complete proprietary training in finance, wealth planning/investment strategies and products.
Successfully complete the required Series 7 and 66 licensing exams.
Effectively source business prospects and employ client acquisition techniques.
Consult with clients on investment strategies based on their financial
and investment objectives.
Balance management of referral activities, customer follow-ups and administrative tasks.
Complete continuing finance education, licensing requirements and sales training.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sales, marketing or related field, or equivalent to five years’ professional experience in business development, management, sales, legal, accounting, education, military, finance or other business-related field.
Excellent communication, presentation, time-management and organizational skills.
Strong community presence with an established network of personal and business contacts.
Ability to listen to client needs and provide financial solutions.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
Successful completion of background check and pre-employment assessments.
INTERVIEW PROCESS Our hiring procedure is a multistep process that can take four to six weeks to complete. Successful candidates can expect to complete a series of two to three rounds of interviews, online assessments and business planning exercises. All offers of employment are contingent on
a background check.
