Recently, Texas was recognized as the number one state in the nation for Female Entrepreneurs. The rankings were based off general business climate/opportunity, the number of female-owned businesses, economic and financial health, and safety and well-belling for women. So why does Texas reign supreme? Do we agree with the rating to say why we believe Texas is ahead of other states, what we offer as resources and how we can all support women in Houston's innovation community?

In honor of International Women's Day, and in partnership with the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce, JLABS @ TMC will be hosting a panel of women leaders and entrepreneurs in Texas to gain insight into what they've experienced while working in the Lone Star state, and how it matches up to the other forty-nine.
